Maturing Now in the Stillroom
Some creations begin with a fragrance.
These began with the Tree.
The Kabbalah Ritual Oil Collection is an ongoing exploration of the eleven spheres of the Hermetic Tree of Life—Kether through Malkuth, including the hidden Sephirah of Da’at—expressed through botanical scent.
Each oil is being created individually, not simply to smell beautiful, but to reflect the distinctive character, symbolism and energetic qualities of its corresponding Sephirah.
From the ethereal clarity of Kether, through the solar center of Tiphareth, the lunar depths of Yesod, and finally into the earth of Malkuth, each composition becomes its own aromatic meditation upon a particular aspect of the Tree.
The Tree, Expressed Through Scent
Scent has an extraordinary ability to bypass the thinking mind.
One breath can change our awareness, evoke memory, draw us inward or mark the transition from ordinary time into sacred space.
That makes botanical aromatics particularly beautiful companions for Kabbalistic meditation.
For each Sephirah, I begin with its traditional correspondences and energetic character and then explore the natural materials that can give that character an aromatic form.
Some reveal themselves almost immediately.
Others require months of experimentation.
The goal is not to create eleven essences that smell like a perfume. It is to allow each sphere to develop its own voice.
Eleven Expressions of the Tree
The collection will include:
Kether • Chokmah • Binah • Da’at • Chesed • Geburah • Tiphareth • Netzach • Hod • Yesod • Malkuth
Each will be available individually in a 3 ml dip bottle, allowing a small amount of oil to be applied intentionally during meditation, ritual or personal spiritual practice.
A complete Tree of Life Collection will also contain all eleven oils, including Da’at, for those wishing to work with the Tree as a whole.
Botanical Alchemy
Each formula is built primarily through natural essences—flowers, woods, roots, herbs, resins and other botanical materials—chosen for both their aromatic character and their relationship to the Sephirah being explored.
The compositions are then allowed to rest.
And I listen.
Natural materials change as they marry together. An accord that seems incomplete when first blended can become extraordinarily beautiful weeks later, while another may reveal that something is still missing.
For that reason, these oils cannot be rushed.
They are allowed to become what they are meant to be.
Created for Ritual
These are not conventional perfumes.
They are ritual oils created to accompany meditation, contemplation and personal work upon the Tree of Life.
Apply a small amount to the pulse points or another appropriate external area before meditation or ritual, then allow the aroma to become part of the practice.
Over time, scent itself can become a threshold—the aroma signaling to the mind that you are stepping away from the mundane and entering sacred space.

Several of these compositions have been evolving through repeated blending, evaluation and maturation, and I am allowing each one the time it needs before the collection is released.

A Note on Ritual Oils
These oils are handcrafted in small artisan batches using natural botanical materials. Because harvests vary with growing conditions, climate and season, subtle differences in aroma and appearance between batches are natural and expected.
