This sacred smudge fan was handcrafted with deep intention and reverence, using natural materials chosen through spiritual connection and ancestral guidance.

The handle is made from branches of the crepe myrtle tree growing in my own backyard—wood offered naturally by the tree and gathered with gratitude. Its feathers come from turkeys and roosters raised on a small free-range farm, where the birds live natural lives and are honored as a source of food. Their feathers carry grounded, resilient energy and a powerful connection to earth and sky.

The handle is wrapped in genuine goat leather for durability and strength, with soft deerskin lace adding comfort and protection. At the base rests a chert arrowhead, a sedimentary rock composed of tiny quartz crystals traditionally associated with amplification, clarity, and alignment. Hanging kiwi jasper, black agate, shungite, and goldstone beads bring emotional balance, deep grounding, powerful protection, and an uplifting spark of confidence—supporting the fan’s purpose of clear, steady, and aligned transformation.

Each fan I create is crafted through intentional spiritual practice. I connect with my Creek ancestry and allow my ancestors and guides to influence the materials and design, ensuring the fan aligns energetically with the person it is meant for. No two fans are ever the same; each one carries a unique spirit and purpose.

Please note that the feathers used are natural and may show gentle imperfections. These are not flaws—they are a beautiful reminder of the bird’s life and the authenticity of the materials. These markings carry their own story and energy – adding to the unique spirit of each fan and making it truly one-of-a-kind!
