The Temple was born there.
Originally created as an exploration of the energy of Scorpio and Nephthys, The Temple evolved slowly through repeated blending, resting and refinement until it became something beyond its original inspiration—a dark, enigmatic fragrance that feels at once ancient, intimate, and alive.
It opens with the lushness of jasmine and ylang ylang, but this is not a bright floral perfume. Almost immediately, the flowers descend into a deeper landscape of opoponax, myrrh and frankincense, creating the impression of incense drifting through an old stone sanctuary.
As it settles against the skin, earthy patchouli emerges beneath the resins while a whisper of rose softens the composition. The result is creamy and smooth, with a subtle animalic warmth and an unusual mineral quality reminiscent of cool, rain-darkened stone.
The Temple does not shout.
It draws you closer.
Dark without being heavy. Floral without being sweet. Sensual without revealing everything at once.
Like the archetype that inspired it, The Temple keeps some of its mysteries to itself.
The Energy
The Temple was inspired by Nephthys, the ancient Egyptian goddess associated with the unseen, liminal spaces, protection, transition and the mysteries beyond the veil, and by the transformative energy of Scorpio.
Its character is introspective, magnetic and quietly powerful—a fragrance for turning inward, entering sacred space, ritual, meditation, or simply embodying the mystery and sovereignty within yourself.
It was created not merely to perfume the skin, but to become part of the experience of the person wearing it.
The Composition
The Temple is crafted as an extrait-strength natural perfume, with a 25% aromatic concentration in a base of 190-proof organic grain alcohol. Parfum extrait is the most concentrated of the traditional fragrance forms, allowing its rich and complex character to unfold slowly against the skin. A little goes a long way.

The Nature of Artisan Perfumery
Each bottle of The Temple is blended by hand in small artisan batches using natural aromatic materials. Botanicals are living materials whose character can vary subtly with harvest, climate, origin and age. Just as no two vintages of wine are precisely identical, slight variations between batches are a natural part of botanical perfumery.
Some fragrances are blended or finished to order. Please allow up to 2–3 weeks for processing when indicated so the perfume has appropriate time to rest and mature before it leaves the Apothecary.
Skin & Sensitivity
Formulations are crafted with applicable IFRA guidance and ingredient safety considerations in mind; however, natural does not mean allergen-free. Individual sensitivities vary, and botanical materials may contain naturally occurring fragrance allergens.
Patch testing is recommended before broader application. Apply a small amount to a limited area of skin and discontinue use if irritation or sensitivity occurs.
